Thanks for the great Videos. The best content on youtube. Happy that the trip ended well for you and you managed the way through to the highlights. Wish I was there too. Only two hour flight for me to scotland but you need time. Hope I can find the time in the nearer future. Caperdonich was a great distillery. Have some Old Malt Cask ones in my collection. Tastewhise I love the peated Caperdonichs. Had a few of them. I love the peat style a lot. The green box in the shop of the 21 year old shows the unpeated style. The peated ones come in grey. 18, 21, 25 and 30 I think, peated and unpeated versions. 18 and 21 peated are fantastic drams. Would be interesting for you too I think. The 18 is affordable too. But also happy that you are back home and the weekly Lives can go on 🙂 Can not wait to see the unboxing of the bags.

Interesting...To answer your question, Glen Deveron & The Deveron are the official brand names of Macduff distillery a coastal Eastern Highlands distillery founded in 1960. It belongs to the Bacardi group which owns Craigellachie too for instance. That blue box/label Glen Scotia is the "1832" version for travel retail, one of my favorite whisky label & bottle too...It is a slightly different than the "Double-Cask" recipe but basically also ex-Bourbon & ex-PX Sherry, you should have taken one ! I have it home but alas no reserve bottle...The 2017 batch is beautiful, dont know about those from now...Cheers !
