This flight flew over my home town in Wales 13.33 it is over a Mid Wales town called Aberaeron and to the south of that at 14.00 is a view of New Quay. I fly over the Atlantic at least yearly but have never been on this flight path.

Yeh I only learnt Air Canada flew A319 across recently - when you look on a map I suppose it doesn't seem quite as far as one may imagine. must be one of the shortest transatlantic routes, I know BA fly the A318 to JFK from London City (via Shannon) as well. Crazy!

The flight on BA is a premium only service and is not for the casual traveller. It is around 4-5,000 quid and you have to stop in SNN to clear immigration to enter the US. I have done it once, the only real benefit was that you don't have to go though LHR.
