If you can swing the price and split it with your friends and family, a private tour allows you to see what you want and cover more ground faster. Book early because these fill up fast. Here’s the Viator link to an awesome tour: www.viator.com/search/106826P1?mcid=42383&pid=P00207674&medium=link&campaign=Yt

Funny but I agree. I lived in Kensington from 88-95 and it was much more vibrant. Went back last year and it was blah.

Well it is my home and I know no different. I went to New York for 3 weeks and couldn’t wait to get back home to London.

@@admtim you never visited the ends (ghettos) you go there and you would likely been robbed and stabbed. I been shot and stabbed and would take getting shot any day of the week. Trust me it is easily as dangerous! Think Chiraq and you are close

Not gonna lie, London is sort of lame. First off, the weather. If you love endless grey skies and rain that makes you feel like you’re living in a soggy cloud, you’ll be thrilled. Then there’s the cost of living - unless you’re rolling in cash, good luck affording anything beyond basic survival. Think min 15 pounds for a mixed drink. The crowds? Oh, they’re just delightful. Imagine being packed like sardines on the Tube and navigating through endless confusing lines with swarms of people who all seem to be in a rush to go nowhere. If you’re someone who likes a chill, relaxed pace of life, London will eat you alive with its relentless fast-paced chaos. Sadly, the chaos itself is boring. London has lost the culture of the late 20th century and become dull.

@@lock.robster I guess we were hoping for a smidge of that 80s and 90s vibe. It’s sadly all evaporated. 😔

It's amazing how you managed to visit a centuries-old city of 8.9 million people, covering approximately 1500 square miles, with some of the richest art, food, theatre and architecture and somehow contrive to give it a "one and done" review! Sadly, the places you visited are over-popular and over-priced, especially in summertime, and really don't give you any sense of the city at all. I might just as well say that New York is a "one and done" city because I visited the Empire State, Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge and they were all busy and expensive. I hope you come back one day and see some more of what this city really has to offer. That said, I really enjoyed your video!

@@simonwaller1973 you are correct, but we wanted to present some information for other travelers who may have limited time and wanted to see the highlights in a day. We enlisted the help of a professional tour guide to assist us in making sure we caught the highlights. With that said, you are absolutely correct. There are many more things to see and I’m sure there are wonderful experiences to be had.
