London Liverpool St. to Norwich | Greater Anglia

On-board the 13:00 Greater Anglia Mainline service from London Liverpool St. up to Norwich on Friday 9th August 2013!
There's not much else to say, this video is just the footage I took of the journey!

I live in Chesterfield, I'm going to Norwich with my mum in the summer on the train, looking forward to it, I think it's about 3 and a half hours or something like that from Chesterfield station. :o

I miss the blue livery on the Greater Anglia class 90s but the red makes it worthwhile I'm going to miss them when they depart (being replaced) from the Liverpool Street to Norwich line in 2019 :(

As a person who has been on this service several times recently, I have always been intrigued about what speed the train does when going its fastest. I know it can go to up to 125mph, but does it really do that speed???

No, it's maximum line speed is 100mph which is roughly after the train passes Shenfield. Before that, it only goes 90 mph. I've never understood why it's this slow but I suspect it may have something to do with the old catenary since it can get damaged easily by high-speed trains
