Ive visited all of those apart from BBNo. Being in north London I generally don't go south of the river but I might make an exception soon! Just to give a shout out to one of the little guys - I visited the Hammerton Brewery tap (not the pub) recently and it was decent. Central-ish location and good vibes.

I'm fairly new to craft beer, but have become obsessed pretty rapidly. It's crazy that Brewed By Numbers and Beavertown were considered as great 6 years ago. I've had quite a few beers from both and neither really knocked my socks off. Particularly Beavertown (I think their beer is shite). My favorite breweries are Azvex, Beak, DEYA, Verdant, Gravity Well and Cloudwater. I'm kinda glad I got on this thing late because I think the standard of IPA's especially New England style blow the stuff from 6 years ago out of the water. I'm always up for learning, So if I'm talking bollocks I'm more than happy to be told with an explanation.

Beer changes fast! Beavertown were bought out by Heineken, moved to a huge new facility and the beer has been poor ever since. BBNO still make decent beer but went into administration last year so not sure where things stand now quality wise.

Good choices. Particularly given they're all so close to other taprooms - like Anspach & Hobday near BBNo and Crate near Howling Hops. The Bermondsey Bottle Shop near A&H is my favourite place at the moment, they're importing some mad beers.

yeah bottleshop do a great job of getting in the West Coasters. The Beer Merchants Tap is about to open right by Howling Hops too. An exciting area!

Yeah it's huge now! New BBNO space is great, but you can get in amongst the tanks still too.

I think BBNo's beer has improved massively since they opened the new taproom, too. Well worth checking out - plus the guy who cooks pork steaks out the front is great too.

Great video and the book is amazing, you guys seriously nailed it. I'm really glad you included so much history and background on the pubs and breweries and didn't make it a bog standard guide book. I only visited Howling Hops for the first time a couple of months back but that place is seriously impressive!

if you google "youtube audio library" and look up Otis McDonald, we pretty much exclusively use his stuff. It's all royalty free and banging mash ups of different styles.

Bought the book love it but one critism is you didnt put the addresses on the locations and would of helped with proper maps not cartoons ,spent alot of time cross referencing on google maps! Cheers lads!

I know Larndon is where you are based but there are many, many more breweries and tap rooms around the country that equal what you have shown in this vid.....
