I go to London usually about 5 times a year from California for work, except last year when I went only March, Sept/October. Was there in May/June and will be back on July 10-31st. Since COVID I do the quarantine routine until my Day 5 test comes back. Anyhow, I travel globally all year and London is my favorite place on earth. The people there are amazing to me, the potential for photography is great. I stay at the Ned and love it- I got some great photos in the Ned one early morning, like 3AM as the place was getting cleaned up after a thirsty Thursday- The staff are well known to me or vice versa, so I can walk around no hassle- amazing place when empty. The financial district is awesome on Sunday AM before around 8-9 am it is virtually deserted. Anyhow, another great video I love London the history alone is worth it 100%

+Right Turns And Leftovers thanks so much, that's an idea! It might have to be put together over a few years though ☺

Yeah Canary Wharf is one place I get stopped by guards every single time I go there, can't fully blame them ( security reasons and private buildings ), But once you verify your identity and the purpose of the picture, the rest is quite straightforward :)

Some great recommendations there James. We hope to spend a few days there next summer. Love Camden and the Camden Market also Notting Hill and Paddington area. Went up in the London Eye and got so ill at the height, looked at my London map the entire time.

+Gary Stockton ahh thanks Gary! ☺I know the feeling. Yeah Camden is great, luckily my brother lives there so I make myself at home on the sofa as much as possible 👍🏼

Another great video James, anyone planning a trip to London could benefit from Google Earths - Street View, as all of London is in 3D so you can literally walk along the Thames and spy out good spots for photography.

Great, now I miss London even more :-) Btw you probably know it, but in case not: Just outside of Finsbury park is an entrance to a running track that used to be a railroad track. There are (well were, when I left three years ago anyway) still some old platforms and lots of street art in the old underpasses/bridges. The path goes almost all the way up to Highgate.

+Shakesbits oooh, I didn't know that no, I'll have to check them out at some point 🙂

James Popsys this is the entrance to the path: goo.gl/maps/SnPB3472L8n I also liked the canals on the East towards Stratford... aaahh I wish I had had all the gear I have now, when I was living there *sigh*

Have you managed to sort out the autofocus settings on the G80 or are you using manual focus now? Just curious - seems spot on now.

Hey mate, Yes! Just single point continuous in the middle of the frame. Face detect has it's problems I find - like if you move... :)
