London's Burning was one of the best things on TV at the time, looked forward to every Sunday so i could be entertained and amused. I have the box sets and watch on a regular basis as the level of crap out there now is huge! It was well by its sell by date after series 9. It become to poncy and about relationships rather than firefighting. The last series is the worst thing I've ever seen on TV and I've seen Eldarado! Shame they never did a crossover series with The Bill, now that would be worth watching!!!

Great show!!. Started watching as a kid and was still waching when my kids were born. Watched George get fatter and sick note's hair disappear ! I remember firemen as a kid in there smart uniforms with shinny Button's.! What a change in equipment and machinery since the 80's.
