My wife and I won the sidecar class back in the 1970s with a Triumph Thunderbird/ Wessex touring outfit. Burnt the clutch out on this last climb but managed to limp into the finish in Newquay. Managed to buy a new set of clutch plates for the ride home back to Derbyshire. Great times!
