LONDON VLOG | Top Drawer and my Second TRADE SHOW! How Did it Go?

Hey girl, I just wanted to give my 2 cents on the shipping issue as a small business that buys a lot of bulk/heavy items and ships out a lot of heavy items. Don't let someone bully you into changing your shipping prices, some people especially in the wholesale world are real a-holes and will treat you like crap if you're not on their "level". It's a sad truth unfortunately. £12 is not too high for a wholesale order. I've paid up to £65 before (pallet delivery, but still). It's more important that you send it with a reputable courier with tracking and fast shipping, businesses should know this if they're buying from you. I would happily pay the extra £ to get it to me fast, and safely and in tact. If I'm placing a £100 order, that extra £4 will make no difference if I want the items. And if they're going to be nitpicky about your shipping prices, you probably don't want them as a customer anyways. I know it's hard feeling like you've lost a sale, but a customer that's going to moan about little things like that is not worth the stress and hassle! Loved the video, I just wanted to give you a hug when you were talking about that person talking down about your shipping prices. Trust your gut, you're obviously doing something right. Sometimes people's "advice" comes from jealousy, and it's not always the best advice to follow as it leads you down the wrong path. And what works for them, may not work for you 🖤

I've been watching your journey from the beginning in the last few weeks. This is so exciting and I hope it goes well for you. Can not wait to see where you go from here! What happened with the copyright situation from a few videos ago? I love how you do your thing. It takes courage, and I love how you do what is best for you, the invoices for example. Thoroughly enjoyed this vlog. I am so pleased that you got orders, as your products are fantastic 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 You mentioned about painting the walls next time, but would be charged extra and would have to paint it back to white. Have you thought of using contact paper for walls. Highly recommend, sticks to the wall but can be peeled off and reused. Just an idea. 😃

Re the shipping - it worth having a chat to courier companies and seeing if you can get a business account. I have one with APC for my small business (I sell stationery too etc). You get a better rate that way. Hope thats a help!

I don't know what shipping company you use for large orders but for really large ones I use DPD and its a really good price and includes tracking :) (you probs already know that)
