London Walk: Battersea【4K】

Good old Battersea, where I grew up and where I will always call home no matter where I find myself living. The Battersea demographic is so different these days though, especially those people who insist on calling it Clapham just because the main railway station is called Clapham Junction...Clapham Junction is, always has been and always will be in BATTERSEA!!

So many great buildings you missed! The Clapham Grand to the left at the end; Battersea Library to the right. When things do open again, take a look at Battersea's Refence LIbrary. It's a beautiful old room.

I just love the old Arding and Hobbs building which is Grade 11 listed of course. That corner with the Falcon pub opposite always seemed to me to represent old London Town. I think it's the architecture, and the whole atmosphere of the area. They must never pull that building down.
