The best part of YALC is definitely the people and get to see friends and give them a hug. Also I can't believe how big Nathan is now! 😱

Whaaat...? You didn't enjoy the train experience, although we went to such great lengths to have it tailor-made for horror fans?!! May I recommend you book the train experience for cosy mystery readers next time instead? There will be a murder on the train though, of course, and you are even allowed to leave the train again,... if and when you solve the case. It's great to get tagged along through the streets and bookshops of London. Good to see you've picked up the Paperbacks from Hell. And you were so close to St. James's Park, did you take a break there? You got to see so many things on stage. I always expect it to be more difficult to get tickets. Looks like you made the most of your stay. And I'm happy to hear you got to meet your friends at YALC. There are so many things to take in. I love how all the booths have books that are so colourful and fun decorations which gives it kind of a Christmas fair vibe. And viewed through the lens of the smart phone one almost forgets the size of the exhibition hall. You captured the YALC debut of Pan Mcmillan's new YA imprint First Ink, and you even got SOME LIKE IT COLD from them. Ashley Winstead also wrote THE LAST HOUSEWIFE that got some buzz when it came out at the end of 2022. You already know Anton Hur as the translator of CURSED BUNNY and YOUR UTOPIA by Bora Chung and also VIOLETS by Kyung-Sook Shin; I need to pick up his debut novel TOWARD ETERNITY soon. Thank you for taking us on a tour!

🤣🤣 that is a good way to sell train tickets having horrible planning. I guess that happens after experiencing so many German trains :P I did not get the chance to go to St James Park but maybe next time. I had only preordered Stranger Things but for the other 2 musicals I got tickets basically the same day. Definitely recommend going to musical and theater plays when in London. I always want to mkae a better job at slowly vlogging all the books and stands but it gets quite busy and full of people everywhere 😅😅 A great experience for book lovers even if you do not read so much YA because you can always discover new authors and support also small publishers like tiny ghost press that was there as their second year and I love those guys so much.
