They say its hardest to win a title in London than any other region due to the fierce competition and the sheer number of amateur boxing clubs and they aren't wrong!
Youth and Intermediate Class Amateur Boxers go to war to secure a place in the Semi Final on Sun 27th Jan 2024.
These bouts took place on Saturday 21st Jan 2024 with participants from Earlsfield, Don Davis BA, Fitzroy Lodge, Dale Youth, Repton, Fisher, West Ham, Edmonton Eagles, ELBA, Islington, All Stars, Selby, Impact, Harrow, Belvedere, Finchely, TM Boxing, MJP Slik and Charnwood BA

I don’t agree - too many boxers and fans that don’t understand how the contests are scored and the go-to becomes to shout robbery. Of course there are mistakes made, you can never completely negate human error, but really bad decisions (robberies) are very very rare!

@BoxingTunes I agree with ur comment. But I'm speaking as a qualified EB official. Alot of robberies in London. Genuinely. Also alot of fans that shout it 4 no reason but I'm not talking about those.

@BoxingTunes favouritism for some clubs mainly. There is less of this up north. Then also just poor judges

@@kthomas8968 London the only region with 5 judges to give the fairest results. I don't buy into the club favouritism personally, but of course if you have a boxer from a big club with a hundred or so cheering him/her on and applauding every punch, even the ones that aren't on target or hit the gloves, then that will sway less experienced judges, refs, and the audience.
