There were thylacines at London Zoo in 1904, so I will be adding them (probably only a placeholder species as I'm a bit scared of mods), but the quagga was already gone by this point - the last one at London Zoo died in 1872, and the last of the whole species died in 1883 (in Amsterdam Zoo)

This is such an interesting project. My best guess is that the Spanish Pleurodyle might be _Pleurodeles waltl_.

Thank you! Yes, that seems very likely. I might have given it a bit of a scrubby terrarium in that case, but at least it’s got a bit of leaf litter!
