I literally hated this style because all I saw was these girls walking around here with these thick stiff do-do looking locs. I wanted the Denise Huxtable look, long and flowy...Girl!!! I think it also depends on your natural hair. My hair is on the kinkier side so if I used the shiny hair there would be a marked difference between my natural hair and the faux loc.

The 7 hours did this include the braiding of your hair as well? A little correction on the colour its TT30 (as it's an ombre); 1b/30 is a mix.

This video is my reference every time I install my locs. They come out so good. Everybody loves them. Unfortunately, it takes me two to three days to finish. I don't know what the delay is but I am struggling lol. This last install I did, they keep unwinding on me, not sure what I'm doing wrong :(

It takes a while especially on yourself . Try making the loc tighter by pushing up on your loc

Snip the ends where the glue is . Hold the root of your hair and slid the loc down towards the ends . After that cut a piece of the loc so it can come off the root since you crochet it.
