Over the past recent years I've heard so many tunes that are based on/inspired by oldskool hardcore and whilst many come close they usually leave me feeling "not quite" and never knowing what the difference was but something was lacking (imho). This track from you guys is the first I've heard that sounds 100% authentic to the original sounds! It's got the vibe, the soul but also it's not just a pastiche clone of the old. HUGE congrats!

Amen break or Amon break is a term used to generalize dng and jungle breaks. I do t think it is a specific pattern. Amon Tobin is the musician/producer it is named after because many of his songs (especially his early works) featured many frantic drum breaks. Bricolage is an early album of his with a lot of that on there.
