Lucas Bulmer that’s the best part of though right? If we existed In perpetuity we wouldn’t change and evolve so readily and so powerfully. The best part of death is the release - you’re not bound by your ego, your fears or anything that disrupts your brain as life does on a regular basis. It’s all fleeing and I think that’s what makes it special - chicken breast in the freezer is just that. But when defrosted and cooked - can become something incredibly tasty. The love of a good human, the smell of flowers, the complexity of computing, space travel, the human iris, the fact that a sloth and a deep sea angler fish exist on the same planet. It’s all incredible and terrifying and maddening - but we get to enjoy it each day - as amazing and terrible as it can be. Good shit.

Everyone says this song is upbeat and happy, but ever since I first heard it back when it came out, there’s this strange sadness to it. I can’t explain it. This track doesn’t really make me feel happy at all. It’s just sad on some level. It’s like an expression of catharsis and accepting the bad that lies ahead and wishing things could be good again when they never can be.

I feel as if the song is expressing life’s all encompassing beauty--although struggles and hardships lie ahead, in the end the journey is worth it. Definitely some sadness, but peaceful and necessary.

So perfect! I had know the lone's works but this track was discovered for me in this year, and for me came in the right time, i need this felling and emotions in this time. thanx Lone!

The relentlessness of the human spirit, its curiosity in the natural world, and its intrinsic impulse to find order and meaning in chaos. In the face of adversity we seek new patterns, new ways of understanding, new forms, larger and more perfect than us; complete in ways we may never be, but reminding us we should at least try. A beat, like a pattern, is ever the same and ever new; both a home and a destination. In the balance between order and chaos we thrive.

I can just put it on and flush the bad shit in my head away for a while.

Yes. I’ve been listening ever since hearing Lemurian shortly after its release. I just downloaded it on a whim. That album sweetly scarred my mind with a breathtaking atmosphere I will never forget. Then Ecstasy & Friends. Holy shit. That sound was wild back then and had such a signature to it. And he still holds that signature no matter how far he wants to depart from it. The dude always comes back to it.

Ive been coming back to this record for years now. It hits me hard each and every time no fail. Quite rare that i memorize every single sound from the hundreds of repeats yet still makes me want to tear up everytime i hear those synth pads coming in with the high pass filter opening. Such archetypal sounds for such emotions

+BlackMantis Foreman - Definitely. He's the best House/Dance producer out there currently and I say this as an avid US Garage/Deep House head. At the moment, Lone and Leon Vynehall, Detroit Swindle, Mall Grab, Gnork, Loods, Subjoi, Kaytranada, Atjazz, Disclosure, Aleksandir, HNNY, Salary Boy, KinK, Christophe Salin, Ludwig A.F. Röhrscheid, Ray Kandinski, Lay-Far, DJ Steaw, Tony Lioni, Fulbert etc are streets ahead of everyone else and are producing some amazing House currently. However, Lone is so versatile and is right up there with the greats of House like Kerri Chandler, MAW, Larry Heard, Marshall Jefferson, Ron Trent, Chez Damier, Frankie Knuckles, David Morales, King Britt, Blaze, Joey Negro, Tommy Musto, Victor Simonelli, Smack Productions, MJ Cole, Carl Craig, Derrick May, Vince Watson, Kevin Saunderson, Underground Resistance when it comes to producing amazing track after amazing track. I'd love to see Lone do more vocal tracks as well.
