What a beautiful remembrance. I was brought to tears by their love of the farm, each other, and the land.Such stewards of our great country and yet so honest and true.Whomever eventually takes their place will have an honor to live up to.God Bless them.

A great life. Simplicity at its best. I'm a farmer too, but not as much land...the farmer's job is never done. It would be nice that younger generations take over...put their own touches & modifications. "In the last days man shall return to the land"

I really enjoyed this video. I grew up with Judy when she lived in Maryland. Her parents bought two acres from my grandmother and built a home there. I spent a lot of time in that house and our families belonged to the same church. Her mother played the organ and her father and I sang in the choir together. As it happens in life, I lost track of Judy when the neighborhood kids grew up and moved away so, even though I've only driven through Iowa, this video brings back a few memories of life back in Glenn Dale.

Its so sad that there is no ascension from their hands to their children in the management of this farm. Most people believe the brainwashing and propaganda of television and society that leaving the farm to work somewhere else is the right thing to do. I too did work off the farm in a corporate world for years but got fed up with the artificial workings of it and returned to the farm and now will never leave until my last breath.
