I spayed my double steps with limbsaver spray and they are absolutely dead silent, one thick coat is all you need.
@Orr_s2 жыл бұрын
Did it make them much heavier with all 4 sticks sprayed?
@oldtomplatz88622 жыл бұрын
Man I ordered 20” single steps and they shipped me 20” doubles. I think I’m just going to keep doubles and use them for the rest of the season. I can always sell them and get singles for next year
@buckeyebowhunter2 жыл бұрын
I loved the doubles if it wasn't for the way they stacked with the stand. I need all the seat space I can get with all the camera gear I lug into the woods and the minis just attach a bit lower profile. You may end up keeping them! I know depending on the stand there are several options for packing the doubles now too you may look into.

Thanks for this video! I have been eyeing these sticks for awhile now but haven’t pulled the trigger only because I’m not 100% sure I will love them for the price. There is so many quality sticks on the market and I just want to be 100% before buying some. The sleek design, slim profile, and packability is what draws me to the LWCG. $120 each is a big investment though and that’s not including everything you will need to buy to silence them. Which imo, is the worst thing about them from what I can tell. Probably the loudest bare sticks I’ve ever seen and there’s no way you can hunt efficiently without taping them all up. Would be nice if LWCG had them shipped somewhat silenced and not just bare metal.

I’ve actually switched to the lwcg minis and I’m sold!

They make the strips in 2.125 & 2.5”. Any way you could measure what you used so I know exactly what to order? Yours fits really well! Thanks for the videos!

Man I wish I could remember! I wanna say I ordered the 2.5”.

Is that the 2 inch wide tape? They sell two different widths if you just buy the roll, it looks like.
@buckeyebowhunter Жыл бұрын
Yep I believe that was the 2” tape

Great video again. I just did this on some XOP V2 sticks, not as nice of a stick but still very good. How do you like the Lone Wolf Sticks after using them a while?
@buckeyebowhunter Жыл бұрын
I really liked them! This season I’ve been using the LWCG minis and the latitude as carbon sticks and really like them as well. I’ll have a video soon talking about them. You really can’t go wrong imo it just comes down to personal preference

Where did you get the 2.5” stealth stripping from?
They have a few other sized too, and they are pretty cheep.
@brianguest56223 жыл бұрын
Is that the 2 inch stealth striping?
@buckeyebowhunter3 жыл бұрын
It's the 2.5 inch. You get like 9 ft for $12. Might need 2 full rolls to do 4 whole sticks

Any worries with moisture leading to slippery steps?
@buckeyebowhunter3 жыл бұрын
Hey Garrett! I've never had an issue with slippery steps from the stealth strips but I guess use at your own risk lol. It has like a felt feel to it so I don't think you'll have that problem unless its left outside to grow moss or mold.

I prefer the 20" doubles. First bought the 20" singles. My opinion, they suck. Too many moving parts. The doubles are way better its night and day
