The pillow cover is awesome. I love making lots of pillow covers instead of having lots of pillows. A stack of covers can be stored in a smaller space and I just use the same pillows inside all the time and swap the covers for holidays and different seasons. This cover is great because you don't have to add a zipper or anything, the button placket makes it so quick and easy.

I have that same table. Bought it over 12 years ago, and the day after I took the faux metal embellishments off and spackled the holes, and leg separations. I did exactly what you did with the shelf, moved it up. I painted mine white, but now I think I will redo it in black. Love the vases!

@@jcrefasi1 A cardigan sweater would work great too and use the button placket as the closure. Especially if there is a stain or rip on the sleeve you can still use the torso part for something useful.

Wow, you did not just flip these items. You really elevated them! I love that you create pieces that look very high end, but you're not afraid to make it work with simple fixes like the wooden dowels to create the lamp harp. Brilliant idea using the shirt placket as the pillow opening.

I really can't decide which is my fave but the lamp looked awesome with the dry brushing and such a great idea with the little table to put that bottom shelf in the middle! Having raised 3 children I can say, it’s not worth it to redecorate with a 3 yr old. Smudgy sticky fingers on everything, not to mention that any delicate item won’t last long. We didn’t bother to replace any furniture until our kids were older teens. But because we didn’t get nice stuff, we never worried and our kids’ friends were always happy and comfortable here. I loved having a noisy house full of children.

I used to go to Buffalo exchange and buy pants up to a size 10 (I’m a 2) to flip or sew. I then realized someone else would love to find something this beautiful in their size, it’s been years since I’ve done it now.
