@@lonefox Agreed! Just one note for the future, it would also be nice to see extra care put towards crediting artists when re-creating their specific pieces (i.e. Lex Pott’s Twist candle). Although sculptural candles have become quite ubiquitous and easily identifiable through a Google search - it was a little disappointing to not see Pott's name mentioned (same with not verbally crediting Virginia Sin when re-creating her ceramic bowl). ❤︎

Hey Drew, I really loved this video! I just wanna mention to anyone who is thinking about working with resin, please make sure to do your research. There is no such thing as non-toxic resin and even though you can’t smell the fumes sometimes doesn’t mean it’s not toxic! I just don’t want anyone ending up in the hospital with a reaction to resin so please do your research before you dive into this really cute project!!

Personally, I would cut a slit in the bottle so that I could attach the battery pack to the outside of the bottles (and cover it with the poly-fill), and then use tape or something to close the slit back up so that the integrity of the bottle structure isn't sacrificed, yet you could still replace the batteries without needing to take apart the whole project.

To attach the candlesticks together, you could use this method that I used for wax sculptures: Turn on your stove or a hot plate, place a metal butter knife on the burner until its heated. Make sure to use a glove to hold the knife once it's hot (don't put the handle part on the burner though). Then, position the two candles together how you want it. Slide the hot knife in between the two touching candle ends. This will melt the wax on both of the candles and ensure that they cool together since they're touching the whole time.

I have the kind of LEDs in the cloud bottle, and I used optimum duracell batteries, and the power from the batteries only lasted maybe a total of 24 hours. which wouldn't be very long for a cool lamp like this, especially if a kid loves it and wants it on all the time. So gotta find a way to change the batteries ha ha. maybe cut a flap in the bottle near the battery pack, and glue a specific patch of the polyfill to it, so you can gently maneuver the flap open to change out the battery pack :) I love these diys btw :)

If you were besties with Sister James, you'd mention it a lot, too.

My favorite was the coasters and the little clay face plate jewelry holder. Those two are the ones I want to DIY, not only for myself but as Christmas presents. In my family we like to DIY some of the Christmas gift and now I have two. Great video hun, keep up the great work. Take care and be safe.
