I don't normally comment on DIY videos but had to say thank you for this. I've been looking at so many Christmas ornament DIYs and this is the first one (at least the first one that isn't pop culture themed) where the finished ornaments feel a little polished, like a real DIY instead of a 5 minute craft. I think the fox and the sledges are my favourite.

The cork board ornament is such a creative idea. I always made ornaments like that with salt dough, but it’s hard to get that nice brown color. Now I know a way easier method to making a gingerbread looking ornament.

I just made some of the snowy pinecones the other day. If you don't have the snowtec, you can mix elmers glue (dries clear) with white acrylic paint, and brush that on--I found that a wide brush works best, and then sprinkle some epsom salts on top. They smell good too if you use scented salts. You could probably drop a few drops of cinnamon essential oils in with your glue mixture too if you had unscented salt.

A couple of years ago I took some cinnamon pinecones from Walmart that had glitter on the edges and made ornaments out of them so it looked like a real pine tree and made my apartment smell great

Next year I am going to make a few fox head ornaments. These are so cute. I think black puff paint for eyes might be a good idea. Maybe while I am at it, I could make a felt snowman and use that same black puff paint to create coal buttons, eyes and mouth.

I really like the cork board ornament. I don't like edible ornaments because of bugs this is a perfect substitute thanks for the idea I see gingerbread mittens, houses and boys and girls in my trees future. These can be used in a wreath also. Thanks for sharing your talent and time. The pinecone will be perfect for my woodland tree.
