Been a fan ever since 1981, met you all at the Porth Avellen Hotel in St.Austell, Cornwall , it was the last night of your UK tour and the crew covered Bill in shaving foam while he was playing the last number. I was staying at the hotel that night, so, I didnt get any sleep and the bar never shut ... great memories.

I first heard this captivating song when I was 14 years old, and I am now 52. This ballad for me is so poetic and showcasing a different side of Shakatak. Thanks Bill and Jill for sharing this with us. Lots of love from Jakarta, Indonesia.

Beautiful! I remember this song from the Invitations album. I now have all the CD's of the old LP's as I no longer have an LP player, but every CD Shakatak ever released is in my collection to be treasured. Your voice sounds so beautiful Jill. Could you guys perhaps consider doing an unplugged version of Somebody's Dancing on my Roof? I love that song from the Turn the Music Up album? The chords in that song and the lyrics really touched me. I did my own remake of Once Upon A Time which I love and also Breakin' Away which is a song that touches me still today. But I love the chords and lyrics in SDOMR where you say "There's no way that I can fight this thing, it's too late to even try. Because I never know what life will bring, every time I close my eyes". Going through a difficult time when this song came out, that part of the song carried me through. I listened to it over and over and over and still play it in my car today.
