All of the music I hear on this channel matches the mood of my life. And it isn't an unhappy mood, just a serious and reflective one. I feel like I was either born into these sound worlds, or will find them when I die into them. For me these sounds are a place, and I am at peace when I am in this place.

Wow, that hits pretty close to home... I feel the same, I don't think of these tracks as "dark" in an evil or even in a spooky sort of way. More of a comforting, dreamy sort of darkness. My pandemic hobby has been reteaching myself mathematics from the ground up. There's something about listening to these sorts of tracks while working with numbers that takes you to a very spiritual place.

Music has been a very big part of my life for the last 35 years! Yes, I'm over 50, and look amazing thank you 🤣 I can't go a day without listening to something. I have a very large collection, ranging from Slayer to Nine Inch Nails and even Kylie Minouge!. Shit, have I said too much? I only discovered Dark Ambient this year. Wish it was 30 years ago!! When the pandemic hit us in March, I was forced to leave my job for health reasons. And so began months of isolation. One night watching youtube, Cryo Chamber popped up on my recommendation! Oh yeah, this artwork looks interesting, I'll check it out. Wow. I fell in love instantly. I believe the gods sent this to me. It's absolutely beautiful. So soothing and comforting. It touches my soul. Thank you Cryo Chamber for introducing me to a beautiful new world of music. This instalment is awesome. Thanks for taking the time to read my post Wishing all of you out there the very best in these uncertain times. Change is upon us. Bye for now 💕

I cant tell you how many times ive fallen asleep and randomly would wake up to a song that just really hit me, and then kept me up for another 20 mins just hanging on to the feeling. Ambient music can be memorizing at times, because you really just dont know which one will hit your soul till you hear it.

35:00 the laughing children, the sound of happy people that sound like parents and then the sound of a baby crying all reminds me of a childhood, made me wanna cry a little knowing how much I miss it. I'm 22 gonna be 23 now in 2 more months yet I feel old already. The melancholy be real including the nostalgia. Ahhh yes...you've hit your "twenty-something crisis". New experiences and problems and nostalgic childhood memories hit you all at once. We all go through it...some more serious than others. Remember you are in the prime of your life. Don't let outside negativity bring you down. And most of all happiness and contentment is not an entitlement but a choice. Your choice. I don't know why and it actually does not matter, but all of these dark ambient playlists comfort me so much more that any lofi or classical music or any other conventionally claming soundscapes. Those make me feel stressed and like a fish out of water for some reason. When I listen to your ambiences, I feel so calm, happy and inspired. I can focus on my writing and reading, be in the moment, which is so hard usally for me as a maladaptive daydreamer. 30:34 "The Reflection Tower" needs to be used for psychedelic therapy sessions. The God-like, Hans-Zimmer-esque horns pulsing in the beginning strike fear, then awe, then reverence. The subtle, gradual emergence of the uplifting synth melody out of this and into the sounds of babies, then child laughter snaps me into a mode of gratitude for life. Then the triumphant crescendo of guitar notes just break through into a heavenly plane of joy. If that isn't psychological transformative, I don't know what other audio experience could be. Just masterfully produced!
