A true ghost town in rural North Dakota quickly being overtaken by nature.
Please note I purposely leave out the names of ghost towns as I don't want my videos to make it easy for vandals to go out to these sites. Please refrain from leaving the name in the comments as well.

I was born, raised, and lived in ND and have a real appreciation for old buildings, old towns and old farms. If you're quiet enough, you can hear the sounds and voices of the people who once lived there. Places like this do talk. All those houses you looked through were once new. People celebrated a first night in them, they celebrated Christmases and Thanksgivings, the births of children in them. They also witnessed tragedy and death by disease or accident in them. It's my belief that wherever people have been, they leave a part of themselves that is there for people like yourself to feel. Thank you for your tribute to this long forgotten place and for leaving a part of yourself there at the shrines. You are as beautiful inside as you are on the outside.

I used to live in ND for 28 years, Been to a lot of theses places... It almost feels sad when you are there because it was peoples lives where they grew up and boom its just empty falling apart.. If all them places could talk... I know of so many places all over ND like this But I wont say where they are at... Thank you for sharing with us your adventures.

I very much enjoyed your video, especially the fact that you took the time to purchase and paint the statues of Mary. I have a large concrete Our Lady of Guadalupe statue in my garden in Montana. Grottos like the beautiful ones this lady created are found all over Europe and I always love to come upon them during my travels. I’ve driven through North Dakota at least 50 times over the years, back and forth to see relatives in Minnesota and I love the wide open spaces. My mother was born in Fargo 100 years ago. Great job showing this ghost town! New subscriber!

someone probably already pointed this out, but the rug on the wall is insulation, most likely good use for old carpet. love driving through north dakota, never been in a place as quiet as there, i remember seeing this single house on the highway easily 30-50 miles from any gas station or town, just 1 house 50 feet from the highway

I was there about 10 years ago. I remember the shrines and that there were college level textbooks in one of the houses. Thanks for sharing! ❤️ My garage has a chimney in it cause they used to keep it heated and work on vehicles in there. Maybe they did that there too.

This would be so fun to explore, it would be nice and quiet, no damn noise pollution, I think I would really enjoy the quiet the most, so peaceful, it would be awesome to live out there in the middle of nowhere, which would be better, NO ANNOYING PEOPLE

I wonder if taking a metal detector out there and checking the outside of the structures might yield some interesting artifacts. You need to find a partner with metal detector experience to go with you on these rovings. I just subscribed and love abandoned areas.
