LONELY KING || Rendog Animatic

Finally, my magnum opus is complete! After nearly a year in the works, I've finished this absolute monster of an animatic. The idea was born in mid-September of 2022, and although life got in the way multiple times, leading to several month-long breaks, the passion for the project lived on, and my hard work has paid off at last!
I truly adored every moment of Ren's king arc in Hermitcraft Season 9, and felt that Ren deserved an animatic just as bold and dramatic as he is. I hope you all enjoy this (probably) final taste of Hermitcraft content from this channel.
Unfortunately, I just don't have the time to be working on any more Hermitcraft content, especially since I haven't been able to keep up with the hermits. It's possible I may end up doing some smaller things in the future (or perhaps releasing unfinished Hermitcraft videos?), but I'm sorry to say that this channel will no longer be Hermit-centric.
I hate to disappoint you all, especially since you all have been nothing but sweet and supportive since I started uploading animatics. If you wish to unsubscribe, you're free to do so! I'm glad you stayed with me this long. I'm truly overwhelmed with the positive responses I've received on this channel. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

I find the connections with BDubs and Martyn pulling Ren’s strings a cool one. I also like the fact that in Hermitcraft, Impulse was sort of the leader of the resistance against Ren. And in 3rd Life he was the traitor who turned against Dogwarts and helped the anti-Dogwarts alliance win.

I love all of it and I find it so difficult to bring myself to pause it while actually watching it so that I can take in all the details just because I love the pacing so much that I don't want to ruin it by pausing while watching. Also: I went ahead and rewatched the original version of this song and I think that Rendog fits the song best tbh. The feels of this animatic just fit the feels of the song so well.

This literally gave me chills, I love this so much oh my goodness. The slow transition of Ren's hair from brown to grey to show the stress was a really nice detail. DUDE THIS IS SO GOOD WHAT RHE HECK??? i love how you have his hair start going grey as his reign continues, it’s like he’s greying from all the stress he’s under, I LOVE IT I also really like how you had Bdubs clearly being the instigator for a lot of what Ren does. Like Bdubs was the one who made Ren king (and Scar mayor, now that I think about it), and he had a hand in a lot of this stuff and. I dont see a lot of people mentioning it. And the depiction of the heads being all bloody and cut off-it’s so easy to forget cause it’s all minecraft but Ren did absolutely have these people beheaded and it really adds to the vibe. I love how dramatically this is portrayed, when really it was just a several month bit where ren spoke in a -Pirate- -Scottish- ridiculous accent whilst remaking the entire economy in quite a positive way until it was the chaos caused by the OTHER hermits that made him ruin everthing

This is absolutely incredible! So, so gorgeous, and the song choice was perfect as well. Especially with Cleo and Ren's recent episodes looking back over the King arc and giving Ren the credit he so rightly deserves. I hope he gets the chance to see this and understand just how much he's impacted all of us with his amazing creativity. Congrats on finally finishing it!
