John Mitchell is a master of not only melody and guitar... He weaves around the actual key using other chords that thoretically relate TO the tonic, but RARELY ever hits the actual tonic chord... until it's needed. VERY CLEVER. One of my favourite musicians.

They must be influenced by Steven Wilson. Listened to 3 tracks now and could have been listening to Steven and even Porcupine Tree (also Steven Wilson) But these are amazing. Love the sound.

oh and the DRUMMER, who plays for Steven Wilson and seems like EVERYONE ELSE, is just superb.

Wait for the album. I’ve heard it at a special playing by John Mitchell himself... F*&£*() BRILLIANT... BUY IT!

I'd have to hear this in the context of the album to make a better judgement on it. On the surface it's pretty pedestrian to me - but again it's a piece of something bigger.

My issue with the second disc was it was too much like the first. If this song is any indication, third time's a charm.

The issue here is the drums. I just don't dig them. I like prog and like his voice and like the riffs. But it's too heavy for me...

Way too modern and metal-oriented sounding. Not impressed at all. There's almost a cliche nowadays that every prog artist must sound like this. Try somethind different, for God's sake!. Thank you
