Loved the books as a teenager, then of course the movies. I have War of the Ring first and second editions, plus expansions. Just love the game. Now I am going to have to find a copy of this one.

I would love to table these two massive games more, but for now, I’m content with soloing the LoTR: LCG - have you tried that one?

LonelyMan BGs I have seen it and watched a couple of play through, not sure it is my style of game. Maybe at some point I will take the plunge. Just bought Mage Knight ultimate edition which also is card driven, that may spur me on.

I would love to! It's a massive game, and a great one, and it deserves some nice videos to go with it. For the time being, I'm finishing up a few series -- I'll be doing the Warriors of Middle-earth expansion videos soon for War of the Ring, I'm about halfway through Star Wars: Rebellion, and I'm doing a couple of others as well. But, I would love to do this one in the future.

This is high up on my *to buy* list. I have read rumors about a reprint after the limited editions have been printed and distributed. I hope those rumors have some truth in them. Do you happen to know more on the matter? maybe you have some speculation.

Hey! I bought them on amazon - just type in chessex d6, and you’ll be able to find lots of colors and patterns.

If you own both The Hunt for the Ring and The War of the Ring, you can connect these two. Is there a similar mechanic to link the outcome of this game with The War of the Ring?

Personally, LoTR LCG, since it’s cooperative, it has deck construction, I can play it solo, it has endless expansions content, and the theme sweeps throughout.

If I had a reliable other player, I’d love to get these games played much more, though! So if you have another player, I’d take my opinion with a heaping of salt.

Richard Rodriguez I hope you find it pleasing! FFG’s been spotty with some expansion reprints, so it’s a bit hard to find some of the more wanted expansions at the moment.

LonelyMan BGs I really wanted to watch the video because it’s very well done. However you talk so fast it’s not useful for teaching. I suppose I could be wrong for some people but I was an English teacher and have a high average intelligence. Ha! It’s clear you have a love of the game as do I.
