A good tip worth mentioning: once you’ve looted everything on building 2, if you’re really heavy, drop your bag off of the side of the building, and then go the other way than the way you took
@LoneRaiders2 жыл бұрын
Thanks. I didn't think of that at the time but started dropping the bag since then.... always something new to learn :) I would have still headed around the side we did because the PMC could have been on the other side so that is just RNG but If I wasn't carrying the bag at that point I had a much better chance of actually having an chance to fight.

I just always rush the southern MG spots first. Loot the 2 rogues there, and then loot the immediate area around that. Then hit the grotto extract. Run takes 5-10 mins depending on where you spawn and nets you an easy 600k-1m depending on their gear and the loot in the area. Most people head to the buildings, so I prefer to avoid those high traffic areas as I’m trash at gun fights. I die maybe once in every 4 raids doing this route, and it’s super efficient. You can even run it on PMC with pretty good efficacy; just bring a pistol and a couple meds and a splint to stop bleeding if you eat a bullet or landmine (I play drunk a lot and forget to avoid the landmine areas.) PMC run costs you like 40k and can net you the same 600k-1m, it’s just a little more risky when trying to extract. I die about half the time, but it’s definitely worth. Bitcoin spawn in the broken containers, LEDXs can spawn around there as well, already pulled 2 this wipe off the route. Only downside with PMC run is that you have to sit and wait for 10 mins or so until the chads clear out the rogues and head for the juicy loot in the buildings, and you usually have to run to Shoreline extract with a heavy bag while killing scavs. You can take northern checkpoint but you’re super exposed, and if any rogues on the western side are still alive you’re probably gonna eat a bullet if you don’t have a gun with a decent scope and ammo.

Few things to keep in mind with this. PMC's do come down and will loot rogues from time to time, PMC's also stick around on the rocks to sometimes snipe player scavs. Betrayal from player scavs is also very high in this area. Even with 10 minutes left, A pmc will often still be lurking around.

Lighthouse as a PMC (especially if you are newer to the map) is a scary and unforgiving place. The best way to run Lighthouse as a PMC is get in and out quick or go really slow and stay till late in the raid..... nothing wrong with that approach at all.

With all above comments in mind ...it makes the "loot run" pretty inconsistent.

I mean this first raid you’re in. This is rare. Every single lighthouse raid in a populated region is FULL of player scavs within the first 10 min of raid start. You getting untouched dead rogues and all that loot seems like a rare occurrence. I’ll give it another go this weekend. But it’s always picked clean when I’ve scaved it
@LoneRaiders2 жыл бұрын
Well its the first raid I showed, but not the first I recorded. I choose this one because it wasn't perfect. It seemed perfect in terms of the quite camp and we got decent loot (although have got much better before and after) which is why I showed the end like that. There is so much RNG in the game and especially the camp.... I can't change that. What I will try to do though is help understand where all the best loot is, what and where the dangers might be depending on the noise and the time you spawn in and how to engage or avoid it. Hopefully the rest of the series will balance out the quietness of this one raid. Appreciate the support as always.

@@HOBOTw1tcH its a 50/50. If they aren't dead ill kill them. A lot of the time though when they are dead, the PMCs won't come to loot them. Even if they are partially looted, there's a lot of rogues so there's still loot left. Even on my worst runs its better than any other map. I used to only go to the treatment plant, but now if I spawn near the big houses ill hit those first. Lots of hidden areas for good loot there too. Like I said before though, there are so many rogue spawns I usually start at the entrance, make my way to the left building (inside and on top) then hit the far back building before leaving at industrial gate.

Two rare spawns worth grabbing on this route too are firstly, the rare box on the water sylo by the first tech crate tent. You just jump up onto it left of its stairs, the benefit is if camp is being sniped from rocks they'll shoot at you when they hear metal. Then you can ignore the tech crate and rare spawn at north truck where they'd headshot you usually when looting the crate. Secondly the rare spawn in weapon shipping container (northwest tent) is great to grab after sylo rare spawn. Plus there are weapon boxes too. Just two more rare spawns ya know. But great video!

I've pushed off doing Lighthouse quests until now and I've been trying to get into the Rogue camp for 6 raids now. First few times I died to rogues because I didn't know how to deal with them. After that I've died to players scavs who are full of rogue loot. Seems to me that if I really want to get into the camp to do my tasks, I need to spawn near it, kill the rogues in a few minutes and do the tasks before scavs show up, since I've seen groups of 3-6 players scavs rocking class 5 armor running around the place when there were still 25 minutes left in the raid....
@LoneRaiders2 жыл бұрын
Lighthouse for Rogues in general is pretty rough. Player scavs can spawn in after 3 minutes which really should be adjusted. However it actually can be easy enough to deal with the early ones if you get to know the place well and know where they spawn. Then you can move on as normal with mega loot options. I would recommend that you run Lighthouse as scav for a good while to get to know all the scav spawns and routes and it should make PMC raids much easier.

another tip. you can change your servers from the launcher settings to a dead server if you are really struggling.. if you are NA look for a server that the time zone is around 4 am and has under 120 ping. if you are EU you can pretty much choose any server you want just make sure it has a good ping and check the time zone. it won’t be dead every time and the q times might be horrendous but it’s an option. if you are good at the game i don’t recommend this as it’s kind of a pussy thing to do if you can compete perfectly fine.

I have the same setup as you but with an older processor. Happy to know how much it will inprove by changing a single element!
@LoneRaiders2 жыл бұрын
Honestly I am not technical enough to say for sure but I was convinced the Processor was the problem with the old set up and went for this one in the hope for a major boost. I really believe the Processor is the reason Tarkov is running so well now.

@@LoneRaiders seems that newer (really good) games are being CPU intensive. As they grow with lota of improvementa on a yearly basis they tend to be more CPU intensive. Star Citizen is another good example. See SC and Tarkov have pretty smart AI and other factors that may cause a bottleneck if working on a older architechture. As of now I have 48 gigs of DDR4, a EVGA 3080 and a Core i7 5820k which is great but... almost 8 years old. I might go either for a 5800x like yours or a i9 10900k (might buy it from a friend)

On the 7,62 AK-s , next time take the Kobra, you are saving space. You can take the Kobra with the 6xscope+flashlight if i recall correctly for 1 slot, instead of 2slot for scope and 1 slot for flashlight

I only play eft on lighthouse for the last two wipes. This scav run is great but I much prefer to loot the southern side caches and resort then get out. 99% of the time absolutely none of the caches have been touched and this run has funded my gameplay and hideout upgrades massively. If I spawn near to the water treatment plant, then I will risk running that way but any kind of voice line from the scavs and I'm away to run the southern end. Keep up the great work!

I have found that the higher your scav karma the more lenient the rouges will be towards your scav and I don't know if it's the same for this wipe but last wipe I found that they will just leave you alone at +3 scav karma as long as you don't walk into their towers
@LoneRaiders2 жыл бұрын
Honestly I have not experienced that at all over either wipe (I have never been max Karma though). Even with really low Karma I have had Rogues just run right by me, right next to me. I think it has something to do with that they are activated on someone else at the time.

There is a compass on the map so you can navigate. Very few maps in the Tarkov space will show you the map with North at the top because of the way it fits into the open world. This one is rotated because it is a long thin map so would be really small to show you in a video format like this. When you are on the map you can use your compass to match with what you see on the map.
