M.A.D.CURLS when hair is low porosity it doesn't retain moisture on its own and it's prone to product build up and because hair is made of protein on and low porosity hair rarely allows moisture in or out so using anything with protein "at least for me " leaves my hair dry and stiff I wash more often due to product build up and I use a deep conditioner with protein every 4 washes for balance hope this mad sense

I like using gels too. Would you guys do a video showing what gels you like? I usually use eco styler would like too see what other gels would be good and aren't too expensive 😆...great results btw would like to try this line

I feel like the smoothie should be the leave-in and they should have a stronger holding gel or thicker cream to complement...im still not sure how I feel about the smoothie..if I’m heavy handed with it, it works a little better...but I have 3b, 3c, and 4a hair, so I need a strong hold with lots of moisture...again, if they could formulate it as a leave in (same tub and everything, please!) I think it’ll be a winner! Lol

Interesting! We were thinking about giving it another go! That would a great way to use it, as a leave in. Maybe with the Curling Jelly. But they should come out with another product in the line like a gel or a stronger hold cream. We agree! 🤗

Why weren’t you guys fond of the curl enhancing smoothie? Just wondering. I bought both the leave in and smoothie and tried them today I loved them but not more than the mielle organics pomegranate and honey.. and would you guys be willing to do a review on Bella curls coconut leave in conditioner and curl defining Creme ? I bought both from dollar general today and yet to to use them but I love watching you guys review products. They are real affordable.

Telly Ville We absolutely love love love As I Am as a brand, especially the original line. So, we were beyond excited to try the new Long and Luxe Line. We love the shampoo and conditioner combo, the GroWash was ok, the smoothie in our opinion was very drying. We put the leave in before the smoothie so perhaps it didn’t help. We never got the edge control. We never really used the oil,treatment so in a nutshell the new line was a little disappointing. However, we cannot stress enough how much we adore the shampoo and conditioning combo. And that’s saying a lot because TaylorAnne doesn’t care for shampoo but this is her go to cleanser at times. Maybe one day we will give the smoothie another chance. Maybe we missed something. As we go along on this journey we are getting better at what we do, so maybe it needs a second glance. 🧐 haha! -LoriAnne
