The cable-stayed tends to be a naturally beautiful design but this one falls on the spartan side without any adornment. A pity for a bridge that's suppose to be around for 100 years. At least in the old days they considered the design of the times e.g. Golden Gate's art deco.

It is ugly. The towers look so plain. The road looks like it’s been paved up from potholes. The street lights are basic street lights. The bay bridge in San Francisco is much more appealing.
