Yes. Some of the goalies demonstrated horrible goalkeeping, especially in goals where the ball went high up before coming down into the net. They has enough time to predict the landing position of the ball and failed.

2:06 you said guys to look out for, Jamie Vardy. He's 37 and on the cusp of retiring in the next few years but is still one of the most insane strikers in English football. 174 goals for Leicester, the club he won the Premier league with in 2015-2016 and just this season managed to get them back into the PL after being demoted the previous season. 271 goals total in his career plus another 7 for England in a short few years with the national team. Might interest you to watch and see if Vardy can win one final trophy for Leicester in the coming years.

its the angle the ball is coming down that matters like, if the path of the ball is over your head and beyond your reach the whole way until it dips down into the net the amount of space you have to save the ball is fairly small and hard to predict. Goals like these are pretty rare. Like imagine someone lobbing the ball up into the air on a basketball court and the ball is going to fall directly down onto the hoop, youd only have a small oppertunity as the ball is falling to possibly stop it going in

So the swerving is actually called a knuckle-ball, just like in baseball its a special technique (Ronaldo is quite famous for it) where you put zero spin on the ball and it just moves crazy

Gerrard is easily my favorite long distance scorer. Easily….ant he was the best at it. Most of the times, midfielders are better at long distance shots because they need to practice it. According to their positionning on the field, they are far from the goal then striker. So…when they have a chance to shoot it…they shoot it. Most of the time it’s from outside the box.

Some of the goal like at 5:30 can't be predicted when you see what the ball is doing. At 10:16 it's because the golie is high in the field to play like a player in defense. And at 11:30 this is not the goalie fault, it's the wind. No ball never bonce on the floor and go faster after. Same at 12:00 A bad goalie is at 11:12 this is a bad goalkeeper decision.

Think of it this way, picture a american football player punting a 67m shot with bigger area to get that shot, with no goal keeper. So in EU football we have a goal keeper and smaller target. BUT dont forget you have less time to react here because itts faster and you got to scan everything in 1 second before making the decision to even go for goal

Some of them were the goalkeeper's fault and lack of attention... but others weren't. At min. 9:30, for example, it's a very difficult save to make. Many variables, a high ball, constantly changing trajectory, the goalkeeper is running back and looking at the ball at the same time, he has a spatial notion of the goal but he doesn't see the goal, no one foresees or believes a shot on goal from midfield, the stadium lights and the ball falls between the post and the crossbar, which when it comes too high is almost a blind spot we have... it's a natural human sense... all this reading happening in seconds. For those of you who have never played tennis, please try serving, or for those of you who have played, tell me if you always hit your serve at first. In football this kind of goal doesn't always happen and there are a few attempts a season.
