And this is why paul and ricky were the best in the world by far. most people when asked about aggressive players mention people like simon and drew gibson but who else but paul mcbeth have so many deathputts made, to make them you got to go for them in the first place. there is a reason that when interviewed after a win players all so often credits "ive been working on my putt". there is a reason Nate sexton kept up with the "best drivers" in the world. i remember back when simon and eagle started to become standard pros, a card with mcbeth, sexton, Eagle, and simon, Sexton had nothing on the drives relative to the rest of the card. but was making every single putt and was just focused on giving himself a putt. and when eagle was on his run recently he was the #1 putter according to stats

This is a great compilation! The ones that I can think that were missing were Simon’s putt at *Waco?* (not completely positive of the tournament) a few years ago. (The one Jomez did the recreation of over the off season) Ricky’s original raptor legs putt at the masters cup from a few years ago. Some super clutch putts considering the tournament is on the line etc (Paul on hole 2 of Portland worlds during the playoff, Jeremy Koling huge putt on 18 to tie Paul and go onto win the memorial) Some Gannon Burh putts could probably have made the cut. Cale had a huge putt/throw in a couple of years ago too, don’t remember where though. Plenty of media for a Pt.2 and more!

I know someone who almost always turbo putts when he has to shoot a stupidly tiny gap to get to the basket. He says that having the disc near eye level the entire throw makes the vertical part of any gap feel much bigger. He doesn't usually make them of course, but he generally avoids disaster.

That was stupid fun. A few days ago I had a 114 foot throw in, from behind a row of 8-10 foot tall bushes. I had to throw a pretty high shot, out away from the basket to get around the bushes, so I had to put it on a steep elevated hyzer line. A true highlight reel kind of shot. Prior to that, my longest throw in/jump putt was wide open, unobstructed, slightly uphill 80 footer. Watching these guys is humbling, to say the least, but it's so damned fun. Especially seeing their reactions.

Watching Paul's finish at Maple Hill... I know you cannot stand in OB when throwing a shot, can you land in OB on follow thru? Obvi out of circle, but his hands land in OB after putt. Just curious.

U just can't have any supporting points out of bounds when releasing the disc, after it's released its fine to fall ob, the only time u can't fall is in circle 1 where u have to maintain balance
