Very cool. Beautiful scenery. (Everyone is going to say that 🙂) I like these windsurfing/foiling explorations like the round Greece trip, too. It's nice to see the other aspects of windsurfing away from the dog-eat-dog stuff in the PWA. That stuff's great, too, but this kind of session is the kind of thing that interests me more, TBH. There's an English guy called Henry Cartwright who windsurfed solo and unsupported across the English Channel last year, I think it was. He was using a raceboard, like some of your round Greece legs. It's just nice to see that it doesn't have to all be about blasting back and forth across the wind (although even that is something I aspire to 😂).

Looking at the heat rate when you were pumping (13:58) I become more confident that Coros should improve their heart rate measurement - I use Apex 2 model, and notice that it has too big lag after heart rate changes, and it seems like they try to use current speed or something other than just heart rate sensor to "guess" the correct heart rate (sometimes I have doubts that I really have 180-190 BPM during my windsurfing sessions). And thank you for the cool video: beautiful nature, perfect gybes, tranquil soundtrack!

You should start a 2nd channel, call it Sail Away, in stead of rail away. Superb slow tv for Foilers.

Nice lake. A friend tried that nice light board in 30 knots on San Francisco Bay. Had some round-up control issues upwind compared to heavier Phantom of similar size.

Really great footage. This was calming to watch. Such a good feeling getting planning after you had pumped the sail so long at one point. If the wind died, how would you get back in. Is there a safety boat you can contact?

Hi Nils. Excellent video and amazing scenery! You were faster there two years ago on the slalom board (65 km/h)? And I also wonder how the old Formula board would perform in those conditions…

Was the wind consistently 12 knots throughout the session? Awesome speeds on the foil if so 👍 Could you use a bigger sail for more speed?

Again, nothing wrong with this format. A few questions please: - the whistling sound is familiar to me in the 1987 - 1988's; my Klepper 295 slalomboard had a peculiar fin from the factory.... when the board went into planing and picked up speed to very fast, the fin gave a audible whistle wich everyone could hear. When I overtook a 2 crew Hobie Cat at real topspeed the guys were in awe. Unfortuneatally I much later on broke this fin... and couldn't purchase it again; Klepper was out of business. - the harnass wich you used also in other videos: is this real a relief for your back to sit partially on it ? ( the harnas with the X mark on the back.) . Love to see y'r videos & greetings from a 65 y/o in 🇳🇱
