After reading JP many years ago and seeing The LF in the papers leaving court looking every inch the character the paper accused him of being, i was really surprised how normal he come across in the video. Not sure what i expected really, Probably lots of jealousy around him, seems like he done what every other person would have like to do when young and earning money, become a shrewd business man. There is no doubt the informant made the report but did the OCG get him to do it Knowing that certain officers other officers would have to handle the complaint which would result in the 3 officers getting suspended . None of what subsequently happened to the 3 officers adds up and smells rotten .

He's been described as a psychopath by his former partner and others, the fact that he appears quite composed here and nonchalant , it's more than compatible with the profile, in fact most psychopaths can appear "normal". And this, to me, echoes the description of him during the libel trial. According to Gillard he looked nervous. In fact Gillard said that at one point he had a nervous tic. I don't believe that he's a psychopath. I do believe though that he's incredibly shy and might even be on the autistic spectrum. It would be far from unusual for a man of his age to be undiagnosed.

However, autistic people are noted for being very law abiding and very strong morals, if hunt is this man who murders people for fun, that would somewhat contrast with that. I’m wondering if “Roy Calder” isn’t Jimmy’s uncle from JP , who Davy and the rest of his pigeon racing mates looked up to as a god . We always thought it was Jimmy Peters from Hornchurch . I think Jimmy P might be deaf , and Jimmy calls him “Uncle Deaffy” in the book , but Davy’s respect for Calder here indicates it might be him
