My love of the blues began with Long John Baldry. I saw him in concert in Vanvouver so many many times. He was great. ❤️

4:12 The way he said "participation!" reminded me of Robotnik! XD

"mojo"... In the 60s in Berkeley we said that meant our sexuality. Older, later, we said " my mojo is still working" meaning we could still get the opposite sex any time we wanted.

But does he hate blue hedgehogs?

I've never heard him speak before now. I know he's the guy that "saved Elton John's life that night" and convinced Elton to finally get a grip on his sexuality, I'm just glad he's a regular "Joe" and not some mincing queen... #respect... 👌👍

Amazing how Baldry's greatest legacy is not in music but rather in voicing a bald headed, mustachioed fat evil scientist with a great distain for a blue speedy chili dog munching hedgehog on a wildly popular early 90s cartoon and internet meme.

Personally I think you should be remembered for both of those things and I know he would probably want to be remembered for his music anyway.

He was terrific at it. Nothing he should have been ashamed of.

It’s funny that a blues legend also invented PINGAS.
