I'm just starting to learn to do this kind of stuff, I've been making things out of chainsaw bars as it's easy metal to work with , but I was under the impression you have to heat treat the steel? as it's quite soft.

the handle is thick in my opinion .... I would have made it thinner for myself. The "holok" blade is excellent! Yes, it was not necessary to drill additional holes. In the center there is an oval cavity in the metal, it is in it that you can glue wood to wood. I saw such a solution at the knife exhibition (handles without rivets) Especially since you glue on epoxy glue.

Шина склепана из двух полос и проставки. Клепки не рассчитаны на ударные нагрузки и очень быстро развалится и получим херню полную. Одним словом человек снял ролик для контента, практическая часть херовая

Привет я разобрал он на 3 куски разбираются,на контактом сварке ,он из 3 листа ,образуются полотно,это не работа ,лучше разобрать ,там 3 штуки ,и по одному можно но будет для только теста на кондитерский работе пригодиться

Isn't a chainsaw bar already hardened? Wouldn't be difficult to drill otherwise. If it's hardened and you don't overheat it with the grinder then it doesn't need to be hardened again.
