Here's the thing that makes this Analog horror unique: most others put esotheric elements in our world, sure it IS scary and dreadfully terrifying, but thats where it ends, this may very well be a part of canon within the splatoon world, we KNOW grizzco is shady as fuck and mr. Grizz is "evil", we also know that salmonids, while goofy looking, are monsters capable of tearing off flesh with each bite, easily, and eat people alive, so this analog horror hits far harder because it feels authentical for the world its set in

I actually think he isn't really speaking English, for us, he is. But it seems he is speaking to another employee of his so it doesn't make sense for him to speak ACTUAL English to him. Just like the tapes when they are written in English, to us it is, but for the inklings/octolings or any other race viewing it, they are reading their own language. Which is a very cool addition. Which makes you wonder, who is translating mostly these tapes?

@@wistfuloptimist1238 going by that, he might either have taught English to his top employees incase of somebody hearing some very sensitive information. Inklings have human-like Intelligence as well as any other species by this point. So they can learn it but it would probably take time. The company was going for a while so it must have been possible for at least somebody else other than Grizzco himself to know English. That is, assuming that he is INDEED speaking English to an employee of his, but after what youve said and I realized after a couple of hours i sent the message, it makes more sense the above. They couldve simply left his voice not English and translated his speech, not needing a English voice. So it seems more plausible he taught some top employee of his English for when its something important like speaking over a phone call for example.

Maybe to feed her to the babies?), or… other disturbing potentialities that might not be appropriate or too dark to discuss in this comment section without treading on triggering topics
