Heard this jam on THE WONDER YEARS. In the episode the Arnolds were getting rid of their old car. I use to watch that show when I was 10yrs old. I am now 42, and for some reason the words of this song seem to resonate with me 30 yrs later. 😢

I heard on radio today. Took me back to 1995 August 2 about 1 am. Road over 400 miles that day and heading home outside Raleigh. I remember going past a car at about 70. Drag pipes on my 80 Super Glide loud. I pulled into gas station on highway 55. And was pumping gas when a 78 year old black man walked up and told me he wanted to get out of the car and on my bike when I passed him. He had sold his 78 just like mine 2 years before. He had gone out on a 2 week run with a buddy without telling his wife. Made him sell it when he got back home. Almost told him to take it down the road but the look on his wife’s face scared both us. Strange how a song can bring back 5 minute meeting 27 years earlier. The 1st was 1 year anniversary of my wife dying and all I wanted to do was ride.

Listening to this via good ‘ol vinyl!! Started rebuilding a good ol fashion 2 channel stereo “wake the neighbors” kinda system. Found this album and this song sounds outstanding!!
