So I have long natural nails with acrylics and my pinky nail is cracked, how can I save it from coming off... I put nail glue but obviously it's not staying. I just ordered some builder gel I am going to see if that works.

@@jasminejennings1991I use silk wrap for mine. Drill the acrylic down thin in the area of the crack. You can just add some acrylic or depends on the crack. You may have to do some patch work with the silk fiber or even tea bag paper. THEN lay the acrylic.

OMG 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 u hit the nail right on the head. I was growing my nails out and they were getting real long but I noticed I was getting separation and I didn’t know y. So I had to end up cutting them off. I was so sad. THANK U SOOO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO. I’ll know what to do next time

I use KNOX gelatin, mix it with juice, once a week for a month, wait a couple of months and do it again! Strengthens nails and hair!

It does work! I haven't done it for years though because last time I could barely get it down! Jello will work also, I might pick up some sugar free, mix & drink😅

Hyponychium. The skin underneath the nail is normal. But some people’s can grow more than others. Google says: Hyponychium overgrowth, also known as inverse pterygium, occurs when the hyponychium, the skin under the nail tip, grows over the nail plate. It can be painful to trim nails when the hyponychium is overgrown.

That's what I struggle with my sides they always start cracking after like an 1.5 inches. I used hard gel have you ever done a full over lay with just the gel ?

I put the polygel on my cousin . You are correct, you need a thicker application, but I was thinking about using builder gel on her natural nail underneath. Im going to try it next time. She cant take the smell of acrylic that's why I use polygel. Her nails are long but I have started trimming them with the efile, so they dont crack in other places. She lets me do wild designs on her.

I just use gel polish to grow my nails but an inch off the tip is the maximum length for me. Then I cut them, it takes me around 6 weeks to grow them back I couldnt do longer nails not even for a day 😅
