I do my nails every so often because it relaxes me. I usually make them way too long when I do them (I keep them naturally short for guitar and stuff). Them talking about the specific feeling that your nails will rip off at the slightest pressure is so accurate. It’s a sensation you have to really get used to because it’s just feels like you’re walking around with the equivalent of toothpicks under your nails. You learn eventually that they’re not gonna rip off your nails if you use them normally because the glue isn’t as strong as your bond your nail has with your skin, and even if it is, if that’s the case, I doubt you’d be able to rip your nails from your skin by doing natural day to day activities. But it’s something that takes so many sets to fully get used to and the sensation is so weird considering the nails aren’t touching anything with nerves directly.

The same way you do ! We just have longer nails xD it's not like you do everything with nails but with your fingers /finger tips. We don't suddenly have like defunct fingers and can't bend them or anything. xD It's an adjustment and you'll get used to it. Like high heels basically.
