Fingers crossed for you this cycle Amanda! I got my BFP on 15 dpo this cycle just a few days ago! My Mirena came out in July so we've been trying since. Really hoping to see the same luck for you in 2 weeks!

Wow that sucks!! I’m sorry. Crossing my fingers that you get pregnant before they close or you just won’t need them! I have had so many rounds of Femara too..so tired of it.I haven’t tried the injectibles yet, but that’s probably our next step. I’m from the US, so not exactly sure how Canada works with this stuff, but doesn’t sound like a good thing for you guys. So frustrating.

Margie Burton I was on just Femara for 4 cycles and that resulted in two pregnancies and subsequent miscarriages. We bumped it up to injectables and I’m now on round 5 since then. It’s getting harder. I really wanted to take a break over the holidays but Clinic closing has changed our plans. 😞 I’m hoping that I just get a BFP this month, along with the others going to the same clinic so we don’t have to stop treatments after the closure 💜

Awful :( I heard about the clinics closing and I know a few people that are going to try and go through RFP in Calgary, but that’s so bloody far away. So extremely unfair.

Eastern Heart thank you. I’m hoping our OBG will continue to see us at her own clinic and we will keep going. Honestly I just hope we get pregnant before the clinic closes and then I don’t have to worry about it any more.

I’m so sorry things are so frustrating! I know I personally had much better results and ultimately success with taking Femara all on one day (CD3). Conceived the second cycle that way and for the first time ever made it past 6 weeks, and am sitting here 21 weeks with this Femara baby. Praying this works for you!!!

I did try one pill a day for a few cycles and things improved but I never got pregnant. All on one day was the key for me.

What a bummer that they are closing that down! Can't you go to another clinic, even if its further away or do you have to stay in your province?
@MyLifeMyWay6 жыл бұрын
Karla Ricker there are two private clinics in the province I’m in but the one closest to me wants $1000 a month plus drugs for the same treatments I’ve been doing. That kind of money just isn’t there right now for us. Things got a lot tighter when the oil field crashed 2 years ago. We are ok, but not the better part of an extra mortgage payment ok. 💜

What would the $1000 be for in that center? IUI? How much do you pay now? And, even if they have to pay more, is it still an option for people in your area to go to a different province for treatment? I'm from the US, so not familiar with Canada's policies.
