800mW for 1 mile? That's 1.6km... I am getting super clear image on 25mW at an altitude of about 50m, completely consistently. At 120m I can go as far as 2.5km and still have better image than the one you get from the Eachine receiver. Try going low power, maybe it will improve the performance of your system
