Ya know... sometimes you think you know something about a subject... then you hear a man as knowledgeable as him speak... and you realize you have a lot more to learn. 🤔

Mogas0311 you’re right. I thought I knew how to cook then I saw one of the chefs I work with throw down his stuff. I was like a teenager cooking ramen compared to what he knew. Some people just know their stuff.

"1 moa is an accomplishment" makes me feel great. I recently shot a .45 moa 3 shot group at 998 yds. Best part was I had 2 witnesses. Tikka T3x Varmint in 6.5 Creedmoor with a Vortex Viper HST 4-16x44 MIL. shooting my handloads, Hornady 140 gr. BTHP. This was prone on the rocks not from a bench. This rifle is not bedded, braked, or accurized in any way. Just a factory gun with a regular dude attached to the trigger. Great video fellas!

honest question since I see the whole accuracy thing talked about a lot. should the goal be 1 MOA at 100 yards? I ask because it seems to me that then that would be the absolute ideal you can do and the groups would grow from there as you add in other variables?as a disclaimer I am fairly new to long range shooting and I am not trying to start any arguments.thank you for the video.
@gwagenadventure7274 жыл бұрын
1 MOA at 100 yards is 1.047 inches at 200 yards 1.047x2 = 2.094 inches 300 yards 1.047 x 3.141 inches..... 1 MOA at 1000 yards 1.047 x 10 = 10.47 inches. Do a youtube search on it there are some videos that explain what on MOA or moment of angle is and the math behind it.
@gunnierunner14 жыл бұрын
The goal is as accurate at possible. 1 MOA or 1in at 100yds should be the max for Precision rifles.3/4 MOA or less is great. If you reload than half MOA or less is a good goal.

Walter Wilkinson served 30 years with the US Army, 26 of those with Special Operation Forces, retiring as a Sergeant Major. As a Special Forces Weapons Sergeant he trained foreign troops all across the Middle East and Africa in both US and Host Nation Weapon Systems and Tactics. After retiring he worked for 5 years in the Middle East with Blackwater as a Personal Protection Specialist with additional duties as a Heavy Weapons Instructor. Since 2010 as a competitive rifle shooter he has won 7 World Championships with a 50 BMG at 600 and 1000 yards and has finished in the top 5 in two “King Of 2 Miles” competitions. He has been an Instructor at Gunsite since 2007. He teaches the precision rifle and advanced Pistol, Carbine and Rifle classes. Dude knows what the fuck he's talking about.
