Par jab ye radio aaya to maine ek ek positive aur negative ko samay ke sath jaancha. Tab mujhe pata chala ki kayi negatives hain hi nahi aur kayi positives bhi asal mein utne positive nahi hain jitna jagaha jagah likha gaya. So, mujhe apne anubhav se jo pata chala wo sab yahan bata diya. Aapka sab ka sneh hai, usake liye dhanyawaad. भाई जी आपको नमस्कार मेरे xhdata d 808 में जो घड़ी की प्रॉलबम थी वह सॉल्ब हो गई है इस रेडियो में घड़ी दो प्रकार से मिलाई जाती है पहला ऑटो मोड जिस पर आप कुछ भी टाइम घड़ी में मिला लें लेकिन वह अपने rds से ऑटोमेटिक मिल जायेगी इससे घड़ी का टाइम गड़बड़ हो सकता है और दूसरा तरीका है मैनुअल मोड इसमें जब हम टाइम मिलाने के लिए जब टाइम का बटन लॉग प्रेस करते है उसी समय हम अप डाउन के बटन से ऑटो से मैनुअल पर सेट करके फिर मैनुअल पर घड़ी का टाइम अपने हिसाब से मिला लें फिर वह टाइम सदैव सही चलेगा और आगे पीछे भी नहीं होगा

Kiran ji, sabse pahle to ye dekh lijiyega ki ye dono Radio operate kar lenge kya wo ? Kyunki thoda complex hain inko chalana, senior citizens ko shayad pasand na aaye. Lekin ek baar seekhne ke baad kuch bhi mushkil nahin hai. D-808 ek superior Radio hai aur door ke ilaake mein bhi FM pakad lega. D-109 ka sound better hai, reception ke maamle mein D-808 se FM par kamjor hai, lekin ek average Radio se bahut strong hai.

Imtiaz ji, cell daalne ki jarurat hi nahi hai, isake andar battery hai jo recharge kar sakte hain jaise phone recharge hota hai. Roj 2 ghanta AM to 10-15 din chala dega ye Radio.

I had read in one of the reviews that one way to avoid pressing freq button is to precede the frequency by pressing 0 first. Matlab 0 pehle press kiya toh usko pata chal jata hai ki aap frequency enter kar rahe ho. Can you confirm this. Thanks.

Yes yes, that works. Actually this Radio is programmed to accept 5 digit frequency input when on SW band. So, when you enter frequencies below 10,000 kHz, you need to press 0 first and then remaining four digits so it will take it as a five digits input. But still, you need to press frequency button first. Adding a zero will only save you from pressing frequency button once again after Frequency input.

Ordered 808 and returned this radio today. This is not a good one. R 108 and D109 are better radios. 808 doesn't sound good. Its speaker and sound is tuned to high treble, and it doesn't sound good and smooth. 108 has the best sounding speaker, and the next better sounding is 109. Truly 109 is the best package for the price, that nearly half of 808, on Amazon on sales days. 109 has additional options- bluetooth and TF card facilities. 109 speaker sounds better than 808, but the best sounding speaker is that of 108 with much lower noise. 808 sound is much noisy. Even if it doesn't sound good, even in earphones. It was not up to my expectations, so I returned it. I have Tecsun PL 398 BT with 2 speakers output, with keyboard backlit. This is very good radio, but its speakers too are not good. I wanted to return it, but Amazon denied it. Though this sounds very good in earphones. So I use this with earphones only. In my opinion, 108 is the best portable radio. This sounds the best in earphones, too. 109 has BT and TF card for mp3 play function.

@@DrKunwar ji, thanks so very much for the feedback. I am sad that your experience with D-808 wasn't good; at the same time, I am happy you like D-109 and R-108. D-808 not having BT aut mp3 play is already a known fact. Also, on this channel, I have repeated many times that the sound of D-808 lacks bass. But it has its own advantages; the biggest being ssb capable. Then there is superior FM reception, which especially helps in remote areas.
