Really nicely produced video, great sound and video editing. Thank you for your work and what you are sharing on your channel. I have just passed 35'000 km on my SR/F, mostly driving in Switzerland but also a bit in neighboring countries. I also noticed some uncomfort rising after about 30-45 minutes of riding but I typically use these intervals making riding pauses, having a drink, a walk and also charging when needed. My longest ride for a single day for 400 km.

Thanks Zaid. I have a similar riding style. Of course with our Zeros we have to take more frequent breaks as compared to our ICE brethren. But that's okay, since my tired old bones need the stretch breaks anyway. My longest day ride to date has been around 340 miles (about 547km), and yes, I definitely had a case of monkey butt by the time I pulled in for the night, even with all the breaks. In case you're interested, a video of that trip is here: evrider.tv/671-miles-of-ev-motorcycling-in-florida/

@@EVRider 547 km in a single day, that is very impressive, especially since you could not count of 12 kW of charging power (if I read correctly). I also added a MRA windshield and two sets of LED turn signal bulbs, but later could remove the built-in resisters. You can avoid, or remove those, by having a Zero dealer modifying a few bits in the configuration of your Zero. If you're interested in that, let me know and I will dig that back up for you.

@@Zelidar I've also got an MRA windshield and LED blinkers, but I just purchased bulbs with built-in resisters as opposed to going the dealer route or buying a blinker kit and separate resisters. For charging, I've got the 6kW setup. I'd probably only add the Rapid Charger if Zero somehow was able to add CCS to the equation. For my personal use case there just aren't enough 12kW L2 chargers around, although fellow Zero owner Scott Harkless has developed an excellent workaround aftermarket kit: evrider.tv/rapid-charger-accessory-provides-dual-j-1772-zero-sr-f-s-charging/

At least Sargent was honest with you. Don't ever be afraid to try them out for something that they do make, I've had both Corbin & Mustang on assorted bikes and found the Sargent to be my favorite. Currently shopping for a seat for a new ride that Sargent doesn't carry, so I am going to give C&C (not to be confused with CC-rider) a try. Looks like a good product and their customer service was pretty good.

I've heard nothing but good things from fellow motorcyclists I know that have owned Sargent seats. If nothing else, it was cool to get to see their shop.

Great review (really enjoying your channel!) Appreciate the honesty about the pros and cons of your Corbin experience on the bike. If you find that the Corbin isn't working out as well as you hoped, I recommend looking into Russel Day Long seats. I had one on my Concours 14 and it lives up to the name. They're definitely one of the more odd looking seats out there, but if you can get past the looks I think you will find it well worth the investment as it transforms your bike into a true "couch rocket" haha! Russel doesn't make any custom seat pans because they build it off of your original seat. So, it's a guaranteed fit without having to do any mods to your bike.

Thanks. I appreciate you watching the videos. I wasn't familiar with Russell Day Long seats. Although I doubt I'll replace the Corbin, I'm already checking out the Russell Cycle Products website.

I liked the review. What I would like to know is how the seat changed your position over the stock seat? Or does it?
@EVRider2 жыл бұрын
It does change the position somewhat. In my experience, it's slightly more slanted, sliding your butt toward the "tank" area more than the factory seat.

Does this still have two seats or just one?
@EVRider Жыл бұрын
Technically it has a second seat but I can't imagine any passengers that would want to use it for anything more than a ride around the block.

Did it lower the seat height?
@EVRider Жыл бұрын
There's no noticeable seat height difference.

From the picture it looks like you had a high zero seat before.
@EVRider2 жыл бұрын
I previously had the standard factory installed Zero seat as opposed to higher sitting factory seat.
