The Alpicool edges the win
Although once Outsunny got below - 2 the Alpicool slowed Down and it started catching up.
So It Ended With The Alpicool Being on - 20 and the Outsunny getting down to - 16
Once the compressor was switched off the Alpicool lost the coolness very quickly

the Alpicool is quicker because it has less volume to cool down? I think the Outsunny might be a rebranded Alipcool k18. The standard way to take sound readings is from 1 metre, although theres more too noise than volume, some frequencies are more annoying than others, that's probably why you thought the Alipcool was louder. I wouldn't worry too much about the heat of the Outsunny, I think its vents are designed in a way that it creates a wind tunnel to get rid of the heat.

@@sun-sea-solar you're doing a good job, I ordered the Alpicool K18, but couldn't find many reviews on youtube, so have been searching for reviews on the Outsunny 18L as it seems to be the same. Whats the insulation like on the Outsunny, does it hold the cold well?

@@DavidDoyleOutdoors not bad. It's does keep stuff frozen but it does have a lot more hot spots around by the compressor.

@@sun-sea-solar don't know too much about compressor ratings but most electronic components are rated to 80C, so should be fine if its under that
