Water is important. Our water table is around 20 feet deep with very little rock. A 40 foot well was enough water for 30 head of cattle. Unfortunately that vien is contaminated now. Thank you Rick.

Farm first trains second. My well is 700 ft deep in limestone and flint rock so if and when we have an issue, we definitely call for help….😊

Actually I’m enjoying putting the system together, and I’ve been wanting to do this for a few years. 700’ that’s deep, ours is 430’, it has a DC well pump powered by a solar array.

This project is from my “bucket list” our house is completely hidden from the outside world by the hundreds of trees on the property, and I want to make sure that the trees are healthy and continue to provide privacy for years to come. Hey Brain, Despite the long distance of the runs, the number of the emitters are relatively low and I use lower flow emitters close to the pumps and higher rate ones the farther down the line, and I run the system at 80 psi. Resulting in an even flow of water on a 1000’ run or so. Thanks for watching and the cool comments.

I remember one year it got so dry here in the high desert of Arizona that we started watering the Junipers. Hopefully we'll have a better monsoon season than last year.

That year I watered all the junipers with a 1000’ water hose in a circle around our well.

Hello, and thanks for watching, the American south west has been experiencing a drought of over a decade, although the last 2 years we have had good rain and snow, but I’ve noticed that the trees near the house, shop and gardens grow at least 3-4 times better because they get watered, so I decided to water the trees that provide privacy for the house, but the property is far to large to water all the trees.
