Started watching your Chanel along with a few others. Very few make good watch related content. Just some additional info about that plastic stopper. It’s called a crown guard or crown stopper from what I know. And although a thought is that it prevents the movement from functioning and saves battery, not true in all cases. Most of the older quartz movements when the crown is pulled just stops the hands from moving although current still passes to the quartz to let it continue vibrating. Some newer models have the ability that when the crown is pulled it not only disconnects the gears for the hand movement but also disconnects the battery. So it’s actually depends. If you are from Mumbai, happy to collaborate with a few of my humble watches with you or maybe we could have a talk recorded.

Thanks for the info. And yes I had my suspicions that it might not work on all I suppose but with a lot of watches it might still come in handy. You should not change the date between 9PM to 4AM as it can damage the date change mechanism.

Yes you should set it around 6:30 first and then only you can change the date

I have seen some of their pictures on facebook groups. Some do look nice but I feel their prices are a little higher. Basically there are so many watches and in so many varieties that its hard to keep track of everything. I am mostly into Casio watches and occasionally look at other brands.
