I don't know about anyone else but I used to be a street skater before I got my first longboard and when I watched all of these videos all I thought to myself was "They call sliding a trick?" and "Crossing your feet on the board is considered cool?". I now know firsthand how challenging these tricks are to learn and I have MAD respect for anyone who has mastered them (especially Loaded riders). Longboarding has become a big part of my life and I wouldn't change it for the world :)

Dude as much as no one should blame their equipment, it's just the board thats sloppy. James is wicked clean and smooth. It's just hard to hold out a slide on a flexy board, plain and simple. But yeah this is still great haha love these old vids

people bashing on JAMES KELLY'S style!!! wow never though I'd see that day holy shit. To start off, he's a downhiller first and foremost. That's why he can slide like a fucking champ, for all you outsiders looking in this is NOT easy. Even his tricks show just how versatile he really is, cause that shit is ALSO not easy by any means, especially at that speed! He has incredible style. It's fast and attacking. It shows the type of rider he is. James Kelly is dope as hell don't hate!
