Your description of how to engage your back and release is one of the best I've heard.

I can happily say that the Falco Vintage Myth is an awesome hybrid long bow as I own one myself since a couple of weeks (tailor/custom made upon my additional requests). With this bow you receive outstanding value and top quality for your money. I am super satisfied with my Myth (#35) and can strongly recommend it - a real piece of handcrafted art 👍🏼🏹😊.

I hope you start making videos again. Your Trophy Vintage Longbow is on my wishlist. I’m going to get it at 70” 40lb draw maybe. It’s such a pretty bow. I have to save my money for a while. I like the way y’all make the bows. Very nice style that I recognize as I browse thru your catalog online. Happy holidays and please return to KZbin. 😂

I was just shooting my Falco Spirit bow today. I was playing with the brace height and form. I've had the bow for about 5 years. Absolutely love it. I had pretty good clusters, but I do need to improve back tension. Meditative. Really great bow, nice video. I tend to lean instinctive.

I'm a beginner. I just learned 2 weeks ago and rarely miss but I keep making mistakes like getting my arm in the way lol etc. I'm grateful for this video I have a 35 lb basic longbow and at first I couldn't even pull the string all the way back. But now i can no problem. What would you suggest anyone for me as far as a really good reliable longbow thats not over the top expensive but not garbage either,anyone?

I just got into archery about 3 weeks ago from the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire. I bought a yew longbow there but it's of a very basic design. There aren't any curved indentations to guide arrow placement or to aim. It looks like if you asked a child to draw a longbow, you'd get what I have. The lack of indentations also makes it tricky to aim since if I look at it straight on with an arrow nocked, the arrow is always pointing off to the left. I'm righthand dominant. Are there any tips to help shoot this thing accurately? I guess you could call it a medieval bow but I'm not certain yet since I'm just starting out.

I have a '---' Twin Hero, Recurve, Bow. I really like the traditional sight-line while enjoying modern tech in a wooden bow. Thank you for your description of the two fingered grip. I was instructed to use it when I used to hold the bow too tightly, the two finger grip has increased my efficiency greatly. I had wondered where it came from, but I haven't gotten around to asking the instructor. Falco has the beautiful 'Falco Twin' longbow unfortunately it is not IFAA/ NFAA or WA legal. Does Falco do or have plans to make a Twin Recurve?

Mistakes mistakes…then he is instructing…. Ie hand contact with the knock or string pulling the arrow off the bow hand is actually relative to the rolling direction of the fingers that grip the string so one should learn to roll towards the bow…

Random question: are you from southern Limburg? You sound just like a friend of mine from Heerlen. 🤣
@falcoarchery72413 жыл бұрын
Not quite, the speaker is Estonian and Falco is situated in Estonia. However, oddly enough the person in the video does live in The Netherlands (although not in Limburg) :)

Ahhh, that is funny! I follow another Estonian channel and she does not sound like him at all! 🤣 How close is Estonian (what language do you speak there?) to German? My friend lived very close to the border and is fluent in German, too.
@falcoarchery72413 жыл бұрын
@@GerbenNZ Grammatically Estonian is actually further away from German (and other Germanic languages) than Persian or Russian or Hindi are. That's because Estonian, along with Finnish, Hungarian, and a number of smaller languages, forms a totally different language family (Finno-Ugric). However, in terms of vocabulary, Estonian does have many loan words from German due to the heritage of this part of Europe being conquered by German crusaders and governed by German squires.
@GerbenNZ3 жыл бұрын
I was aware of that family of languages, but didn't know Estonian was part of it. Anyway, more on topic, thanks for making the video. 😉
